working together

We love what we do – and it shows. As colleagues and friends, working together over the years, it became clear that we share a passion for women’s health, open communication, empowering women, and a similar sense of humour. Education and empowerment doesn't have to be dry or dull, with our shared goals and easy rapport, we deliver sessions that are professional, engaging, and anything but boring.

I have been a GP in Westhoughton for over 25 years. I’ve always had an interest in women’s health, but seeing so many women struggling with their symptoms, together with experiencing my own perimenopausal problems, brought things into sharp focus for me.

That curiosity grew into a me developing specialist knowledge in menopause, sexual and reproductive health, lifestyle medicine and clinical sexology. I’m passionate about making health conversations easy, open, and genuinely useful. You’ll often find me at community and workplace events, chatting with women, busting myths, and helping people feel informed (and a lot less alone).

I’ve been a GP in the North West for over 14 years, with a specialist interest in women’s health. Along the way I’ve trained in sexual and reproductive health, fitted coils in the NHS for well over a decade, and completed additional training in menopause care and lifestyle medicine.

Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to menopause care — not just because it’s a major life transition, but because women deserve clear, evidence-based guidance that actually makes sense in real life.

Alongside educating businesses on menopause awareness, I also give talks in local communities and schools. It’s driven by a genuine desire to help women understand what’s happening in their bodies, recognise when they might need support, and feel confident about where to find it — without confusion, embarrassment, or being told it’s ‘just one of those things’.

If you’d like to book a corporate workshop click below, myself or Julie are happy to support you further.
